Heavy Duty Aluminium Clamshell Clamp

These clamshell style clamps are design to handle high pressure applications while still retain a degree (5°-10°) of movement, unlike v-band clamps.

This clamshell design clamp utilises a slip fit design, with high performance FPM/FKM sealing O-rings, which can withstand over 200° C, and have excellent chemical resistance to all automotive oils and fuels. This design has a very tight fit and is proven to seal even the highest boost pressures seen in diesel and drag applications, while still allowing movement.

The clamshell comes in a plain black anodising to keep your engine bay focused on your build, instead of billboard for promoting the company selling the clamp.

This clamp is machined from 6061 billet aluminium alloy, which we recommend welding with 4043 or 5356 filler rod.
