I find I do 95% of my Tig welding with just 3 cup sizes. This selection of cups is suitable for welding aluminium, mild steel and stainless steel. With the Size 6 cup being most suitable for aluminium and the Size 8 most suitable for mild steel, then the Size 12 perfect for stainless steel.
The 1.6mm 2% Lanthanated Tungsten provides more control at currents up to 75A, and the 2.4mm is reccommend for use between 75A and 200A. The 2% Lanthanated Tungsten is perfect for welding both AC and DC, which allows you to weld all metals from aluminium to mild steel and stainless steel.
